Having refurbished a couple of the older style helmets (heavier duty materials of construction) I needed new and updated accessories. This NVG shroud was perfect ... I like the quality of the materials ... reinforced plastic with a nicely machined alloy insert with appropriately etched trade marks. Really looks the business. I needed to replace a broken NVG shroud and was concerned that a different make might Noe line up with the existing holes ... needn't have worried ... perfect alignment meaning that they paid attention to the little details when replicating the item.

This is a great upgrade item ... just gives your helmet a bit more of a quality touch. I used it during the restoration of an older generation (better quality) heavy weight Mich mid cut. Perfect alignment with existing holes. The materials of construction and degree of attention to detail are really first rate. Will buy another for my next upgrade project.
